Prof. Dr. Casten BaumgarthProfessor of Marketing, especially in Brand Management, HWR, Berlin

In addition to his professorship at the HWR Berlin, Carsten Baumgarth has worked as a visiting and substitute professor at various universities in Germany and abroad. He has so far published over 200 national and international publications with a focus on brand policy, B-to-B marketing, CSR brand management and empirical research. He is also the author of the standard textbook "Brand Policy: Brand Effects, Brand Management, Brand Controlling". His research has won several international best paper awards.

Jicky von Bechtolsheim,

Jicky von Bechtolsheim interprets the position as Creative Out of Home commissioner as a task to create more impact for good ideas and to bring better creations to the streets. She informs about the new digital possibilities of outdoor advertising and wants to inspire creatives to use the public space and the reach medium OOH as their stage and canvas. In this sense, it promotes the exchange of creative agencies, industry associations and WallDecaux as a provider of Premium Out of Home. The Wall GmbH division offers the entire portfolio of outdoor advertising media in Germany.

Ingrid Fitzek-Unterberger,

The real estate expert has been in the industry for 25 years and has worked as a marketing and communications expert for some of the largest domestic companies. She has been with Buwog since 2014 and has been involved in the Buwog Group's IPO, spin-off and listing of Buwog in Frankfurt, Vienna and Warsaw and its expansion in Germany to become one of the major project developers, among other things. Holger Friedrichs looks back on 20 years of experience in real estate communication and, as Managing Partner at PB3C, is responsible for the areas of strategic communication and positioning consulting, brand building and press relations. According to the motto "Content Creates Communication", PB3C pursues the goal of positioning companies on the appropriate channels within the framework of a jointly developed communication strategy - be it with press work, as an online campaign or with its own events.

As founder of the Society for Error Culture, he coaches and accompanies companies in the implementation of New Work, innovation and transformation processes. Parallel to teaching, Ralf Kemmer works as a strategist and brand consultant in various industries. He is also the founder of Fuckup Night Berlin, a non-profit event series that aims to destigmatise the topic of failure in society.

Bettina Olf,
Chief Creative Officer, Scholz & Friends Commerce GmbH Agency 

The graphic design graduate took over her first own creative unit in 2000 and subsequently worked for major advertising agencies in Germany and Switzerland. After two years at Apple in California and eight years as senior creative director at thjnk Hamburg, she started in 2018 as chief creative officer at Geometry Group, an omni-channel communications agency with a focus on journey marketing and customer experience.

 


Marko Thorhauer, Executive Creative Director,

Marko Thorhauer leads and manages the Experience Design Practice at IBM iX Berlin and in the DACH region. With around 200 designers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, digital experiences, products, campaigns, services and content are created and developed to help brands stand out in the digital space. Marko Thorhauer's personal industry focus is on mobility, industry and public services. In his second role as IBM Design Principal, he expands and develops IBM's global design capabilities.
